cool venues to host your wedding [guest post]

Hi lovelies! I hope everyone had an amazing Thanksgiving! I ate way, way too much. Today I have a special post for you  from Danielle at http://hobba.com.au on choosing a good venue for a wedding!

OK, first off, I want to say a big thank you to the lovely Brianna for kindly letting me contribute to her blog. I’ve loved reading about her adventures with the gorgeous Dj and I’m proud to be able to share some stories with you guys.

I was lucky enough to go to two weddings in the last few weeks. I thought you might want to hear how special they were to give you some inspiration for the next time you find yourself organizing a big event.

The first was at a rustic old warehouse in the middle of Melbourne, called Hobba. It doesn’t sound like a classy venue does it! But I couldn’t believe how cool everything looked, especially considering that it used to be a tyre workshop! The walls were exposed brick, there were black downlights and candles everywhere, as well as cute little potplants on the walls.

The bride and groom opted for a cocktail style wedding, which was so much more fun than sit-down would have been. No one was unlucky enough to be stuck on the dreaded kids or singles table, everyone mingled and got to talk to who-ever they wanted. Oh, and the best part, there was a photo booth! So much better than a roaming photographer who interrupts you mid-conversation for a group snap. A collection of costume accessories were next to the machine so guests could get a little silly. And after a few too many glasses of champagne, they certainly did! In the privacy of the booth, my boyfriend and I took a few cheeky kissing shots, little did we realize, after the event the bride and groom received duplicates of every shot taken! So embarrassing!
My other wedding was a country affair, the couple were friends of mine who grew up together in a small town. They made the trip back home for the big day and the ceremony was held on the banks of a beautiful calm river. The bride arrived in a horse and cart, it was a fairy tale moment and perfectly suited to the country setting. As for the groom, well he was what we’d call a bit of a larrikin, he loved to make jokes and lighten the mood. When the time came for the couple’s first dance, he sprinted onto the dancefloor and slid onto his knees.

I’m truly lucky to have such wonderful friends who wanted me to be a part of their special day.
Do you have any great stories of an unusual wedding you’ve been to?

whatever she's got

Happy Wednesday loves! Not too much happening around here. The weather is beautiful and I also got an adorable Michael Kors jacket yesterday that I can't wait to wear in Montana! I'm getting my hair dyed and then shopping for Handsome's Christmas present today!

So, here's what'll be playing on my radio the whole way to the mall!
Whatever She's Got by David Nail

And here are the lyrics!
She's a little complicated
She'll make her mind up just to change it
The kind of girl that'll keep you waitin', waitin' around
She likes to get her toes done bright red
She's always reapplyin her lipstick
The muddy river bank shes the first in and last out
She's got somethin I can't figure out
That everybody's talkin about

Shes got the blue jeans painted on tight
That everybody wants on a Saturday night
She got the mood ring, she's never the same
She's sunny one minute then she's pourin down rain.
And she'll do whatever she wants
And when she moves every jaw's gonna drop
And I'll do whatever she wants I don't want her to stop
I want whatever she's got
I want whatever she's got

Tell your mind before you thought it
What you thought your plan was park it
To figure out where your heart is so twisted up
Have you spendin' every weekend
And every penny you've been keepin'
Just to figure out what she's thinkin' when you're thinkin' it's love

Shes got the blue jeans painted on tight
That everybody wants on a Saturday night
She got the mood ring, she's never the same
She's sunny one minute then she's pourin down rain.
And she'll do whatever she wants
And when she moves every jaw's gonna drop
And I'll do whatever she wants I don't want her to stop
I want whatever she's got
I want whatever she's got

She's got me hangin' on the ledge
On the edge of a kiss
All I ever wanna do is this

She got the blue jeans painted on tight
That everybody wants on a Saturday night
She got the mood ring, she's never the same
I want, I want, I want, I want, I want

Shes got the blue jeans painted on tight
That everybody wants on a Saturday night
She got the mood ring, she's never the same
She's sunny one minute then she's pourin down rain.
And she'll do whatever she wants
And when she moves every jaw's gonna drop
And I'll do whatever she wants I don't want her to stop
I want, I want, I want
Whatever she's got
I want whatever she's got

She's a little bit complicated
That's alright
Doesn't matter I'll keep on waiting
For whatever she's got
For whatever she's got

handsome loves the holidays!

It's no secret around here that I'm totally excited for the holidays this year. I love the holiday season to begin with, but this year I get to spend it with Handsome and nothing makes me happier. I can't wait to spend the first of many Christmases with this Handsome face.

Handsome also happens to love the holidays, so I thought he could take over the blog today and answer some fun holiday questions!
Hey handsome! What're you most excited about for the holiday season?
I'm most excited to spend time with my beautiful girl:)

Let's talk tradition. What was your favorite holiday tradition growing up, and what's one you'd like to start?
I like eating banana bread on Christmas morning and having ham for dinner. And opening presents with my family. I'd like to continue that once we have our own kids.

Tell us a few of the things on your wish list this year.
I'd say anything for my truck. Maybe some new boots, another jacket, and some warm flannels or something.

Christmas, Thanksgiving, or New Years?
Christmas. It brings the family together and it's a really nice time of year.

If you could spend the holiday season doing anything you wanted, how would you want to spend it?
I'm a simple man. I just want to spend the holidays with my friends and family!

What're you thankful for?
I'm thankful for all of the amazing people I have in my life. Especially my amazing girlfriend who's become my very best friend :)

Thanks love! You're the sweetest. I love you!
I swear I didn't make him say any of that stuff ;)

What're your favorite things about the holidays? Don't forget to link up with the nest Ten Favorite Things on December 2!

six things you should never stop saying to the man in your life

Well, I'm happy. It's officially been a year since Handsome has been in my life! Thinking about the past year, and the many years to come, I got the idea for this post. There are so many things that I love about my relationship and I never want those things to change. Sometimes as relationships grow, people stop doing the small things for each other, but think the best relationships are the one's that never stop doing those small things.

Here are six things that you should never stop saying to the man in your life.
Six Things You Should Never Stop Saying to the Man in your Life., love, relationship, tips, advice, long distance love

I love you. This one seems like a no brainer to me. Never stop showing him how much you love him and never stop telling him. Tell him every chance you get!

I'm proud of you. No matter what it's for, never stop telling him you're proud. Whether he's doing well at work or accomplished a goal, or even if you're just proud of the man that he is- tell him. He'll love to be reminded that you notice and admire all of his hard work.

Thank you. Always thank him. If he does something for you, no matter how small, thank him. Thank him for supporting you, for loving you, for being there for you. Never let him forget how much you appreciate him.

You're right. Sometimes we can be stubborn. We don't like to be wrong, and we want to prove a point. But sometimes we just have to let him win one. Little arguments over stupid things can be so easily avoided, so if telling him he's right once and a while will prevent an argument, why not?

I'm sorry. When you're wrong- admit it. I don't think that you should over apologize, but if you know that you've done something wrong, just apologize.

I forgive you. On the other hand, when he's made a mistake, or when he's acted like a jerk, just forgive him and move on.

ten things about the holidays!

December 2 is the third Ten Favorite Things link up! I am so thankful for all of you who have been linking up! It grows each month, and I'm so excited to read all of your posts this time! The holiday season is such a fun time of year (my favorite!) and I can't wait to see what you love about it!

Don't forget to grab the button and include it in your posts! If you tweet about the linkup, use the has tag #TenFavoriteThings

Grab button for Endlessly BeLoved

</a>
</div>

But until then, here are my ten favorite things about the holidays!

one Red cups at Starbucks. As cliche and cheesy as that sounds, I just love how festive they are!
I just had my first one this week! It's been too hot up until now!!
two Snow. Now there's no snow where I'm from, and I'm sure I'll regret saying this as soon as I get to Montana, but I love going up north and playing in the snow! I'm also really excited to experience my first white Christmas this year! It's already snowing in Montana..

three The food. Thanksgiving and Christmas means lots and lots of good food, and an excuse to eat my weight in mashed potatoes. Yum! It also gives me an excuse to bake pretty much every day! Christmas morning Handsome and I are totally making chocolate chip pancakes.
four Christmas lights! Nothing makes me happier than driving around town and seeing everyone's festive homes lit up and decorated.
five Crafting. The holidays are the perfect time to try new Pinterest ideas. I'm really excited to make some ornaments and cute decorations that I want to bring to Handsome's house this year.
six Tradition. I'm going to do a whole other post on this one, but I love traditions that surround the holidays. I'm so excited to start new traditions with Handsome this year!!
seven Family. Any excuse to get together with the fam is great, but the holidays is such a good time to really appreciate the time we get to spend with them. Although I won't be spending Christmas with my family this year, I get to spend it with the love of my life and that makes me so happy. I love knowing that soon enough we'll be celebrating Christmas with our own family!
eight Gifts! I mean c'mon, who doesn't love getting presents?! But really, more than I like getting presents, I love giving them. I already have so many ideas for Handsome's gift. It's going to be awesome I can't wait.
I thought I'd share the best gift I've ever gotten. From Handsome. It was right when we started dating, so about a year ago. He made me this box that says "Whats inside is what I care about the most" and on the inside is a heart shaped mirror. He put little stickers, inside jokes, and the lyrics to my favorite songs on the box. Is he the sweetest, or is he the sweetest?! Gosh I love him.
nine No school. I think that's pretty self explanatory. I can't even begin to tell you how nice it'll be to have a month off of school.
ten Saving the best for last (even though I pretty much mentioned it in 1-9) but I am so beyond excited and thankful that I get to spend the holidays with Handsome this year, and hopefully every year from here on out. He has Christmas off of work, and this year will be our first Christmas actually together. We get to make memories, start traditions, and spend time together- which is all so precious to me. I love every minute I get to spend with him, but spending the holidays together will just be that much more special!

PS still taking questions for the Q&A post! Ask Handsome or me anything you want!! :)

oh hey handsome!

It's my favorite time of the month! I'm linking up again with Mallory and Stephanie for The Boys Behind the Blog! This is where our guys get a chance to take the spotlight and answer five questions every month!
Mal Smiles

1. Who is your favorite band or musician?
Right now I'd say my favorite is D Ruck. But Chris Young is a close second!
Southern State of Mind by Darius Rucker on Grooveshark

 2. What was the first tape or CD you owned? It was one of the Wow CD's. Or is it Now? I don't know. It was like Wow 5 or something. It's Now. 'Now That's What I Call Music.' Nice try though love ;)

3. Who was your first concert? I never went to many concerts when I was younger. So the first actual concert I went to was when I saw the Weekend in Belgium. Speaking of Belgium...take me back!!!
4. What's your favorite Thanksgiving food? I would say it would have to be my mom's sweet potato casserole. She mashes up sweet potatoes and puts walnuts in it and bakes the whole thing with marshmallows on top. It's amazing!

5. Complete the sentence: I am thankful for... I am thankful for the most amazing family and friends in the world. Which includes my very best friend who also happens to be the love of my life. :) Hey! That's me! He makes my heart happy

she looks like california

Happy Wednesday my lovely readers! It's been a good week. I got all of my assignments pretty much done for the rest of the semester, I get to see Handsome in less than four weeks, and I launched my new design site. I also found out that Dj will have both the day I get to Montana and Christmas off of work, thank goodness! We get to have another sweet airport reunion and we get to spend our first Christmas together! I can't wait. But its Wednesday, so you know what that means....
This week, I'm listening to Carolina by Parmalee
I love this song- and the band. It's been on repeat for about a week now!
Here are the lyrics!

Home is where my heart is still beating

I don't know when I'll see her again
I hate to see her cry when I'm leaving
But now I'm a thousand miles away again
She feels like Carolina (feels like Carolina)
Looks like California (looks like California)
Shining like those New York lights on Broadway
When she looks back I'm behind her
I'll always be there for her
She makes me feel like home's not so far away
She feels like Carolina
It's hard to understand the way I'm living
I know you think I'm never coming home (never coming home)
But I miss your pretty smile, and I'm coming back in a little while
But I'm a thousand miles away again
She feels like Carolina (feels like Carolina)
Looks like California (looks like California)
Shining like those New York lights on Broadway
When she looks back I'm behind her
I'll always be there for her
She makes me feel like home's not so far away
She makes me feel like home's not so far away
No matter how far I go, you know I can't stop thinking about her
And there's nothing like the way I feel, the way I feel when I'm beside her
Oh, Oh, Oh, Oh
Oh, Oh, Oh, Oh
She feels like Carolina
Looks like California
Shining like those New York lights on Broadway
She feels like Carolina (feels like Carolina)
Looks like California
Shining like those New York lights on Broadway
When she looks back I'm behind her (feels like Carolina)
I'll always be there for her
She makes me feel like home's not so far away
Carolina
California
Like home's not so far away
She feels like Carolina (feels like Carolina)
Looks like California
She makes me feel like home's not so far away
She makes me feel like home (so far away)
She makes me feel like home's not so far away

cara box reveal

Hello my lovely readers! I participated in the fall Cara Box exchange with Wifessionals. For this exchange, you get paired with two other bloggers. You get to know each other for a couple months, and then you send them a package based on the theme. This month's theme was "Fall" In Love with the Season and I was paired with Jenny from Sprinkles and Sundresses and Adri from Adri's Thoughts. They're both amazing girls and I really enjoyed getting to know them. Jenny sent me my package, and I'm going to share it with you today!
Cara Box
First of all, I never get packages, so I was so excited to get one.
Jenny wrote me this awesome note! It was so sweet and it totally made my day.
She knows that I'm going to spend the winter in Montana with Handsome, so she gave me these adorable winter accessories to bring with! I can't wait to wear them.
Then, my favorite part. She puffy painted this B and isn't it the cutest?! She knows I love anything pink and sparkly, and this was perfect! I have it set up in my room.
Again, she knows I love sparkly pink, and she knows that I'm obsessed with nail polish so she got me this amazing and cute polish!
I also got this candle which smells absolutely amazing!
Okay, I lied. The candy was definitely my favorite part. I think I ate it all that night.

Jenny and Adri are both such sweet girls, if you haven't met them, go check out their blogs now!

Also, I can't believe this month is flying by so fast! It's already almost time for MONTH THREE of Ten Favorite Things! Wow. In case you missed it, December's theme is the holidays. December 2 stop by and share your ten favorite things about the holiday season!

why i love this.

I already have my posts scheduled for this week (for the first time ever! woo hoo) so I wasn't planning on posting today. But I just had to share this! I had a friend, someone I used to work with, message me today. She's the sweetest girl, and her and her boyfriend are so adorable- he's a Marine. She told me she loves my blog and it really helps her with the whole 'military girlfriend' thing. It got me thinking to all of the girls that have asked me for advice since I started this blog, and it amazes me. I'm no expert- I'm just in a happy relationship! But it makes me sooo happy knowing that my words, stories, tips, and experiences can help others. That's why I love blogging. Knowing that I'm not just typing words on a computer, but I am giving other girls hope- and help. It means everything to me! So thank you ladies, for sharing your own stories with me, and for giving my blog a purpose.

Also exciting- I launched my design site today! Beloved Designs has been in the works for a while, and I'm pretty excited about it! You can check it out here.
And a few more updates:
  • It's snowing in Montana. I'll be there one month from today! I get to see snow fall on Christmas and spend it with my love! I'm so excited.
  • I've been gluten free for ten days! My stomach doesn't hurt as much and I'm so happy about that!
  • I'm still taking questions for my Q&A post, so you can comment, tweet, or email me with those! You can ask anything!
  • I have sponsorship spots open! Check out my options!

finding the beauty

Life is beautiful. People are beautiful. I believe that there is beauty to be found anywhere and everywhere. I believe that this is something we often take for granted. I wanted to share a few things we can do to help us appreciate the beauty of our everyday lives.

Finding the beauty in yourself.
When you look into the mirror, what do you think? Personally, I'm often unhappy with what I see. I see my stomach that I wish was flatter and my legs that I wish were more toned, and I know I'm not the only one that has a somewhat negative self image. No more. Every morning when you look into the mirror, think of three things you really love about yourself. Whether its how good your hair looks today or how skinny your new jeans make you look, compliment yourself. You're beautiful, and believing that starts with you. The more confident you feel about yourself, the more your beauty will radiate to others.

in nature
Everything we experience is beautiful. When you're walking outdoors, stop to take a deep breath of fresh air. Take in the blue sky and green grass. There's really nothing more beautiful than nature. Coming from the desert, seeing green grass and beautiful flowers can take my breath away. When I was in Germany, we were surrounded by green fields with patches of brilliant yellow flowers, and its something I will never forget. It was surreal.

in experiences
New experiences make unforgettable memories. There's nothing more amazing than experiencing something new and exciting. Trying new things, traveling to new places, meeting new people, making new memories...beautiful! Sometimes we take the moment for granted. We don't appreciate what we're experiencing until it becomes a memory. Cherish your moments.

in opportunities
Opportunities to begin new things can be intimidating. A new job, school, moving to a new city...it's all a big change. Sure, change is scary. But I think we should always take advantage of these things because opportunity leads to beautiful adventures.

in others
Not just physically, but its important to see the beauty in people's personalities and your relationships. Love is a beautiful thing, and so is friendship. Sometimes we take advantage of the relationships we share with those close to us. Life's too short. Never stop appreciating those around you and never stop telling them you love them.

and most importantly...

in your mistakes
I believe everything happens for a reason. Every person that comes into our life does so to either make our lives better or to teach us a lesson. We shouldn't look at mistakes and regrets as things that we wished never happened, but rather as the bumps in the road that got us where we are today.

P.S. Thank you to everyone who has submitted questions for my Q&A post! I probably won't post it for a couple of weeks, so if you have something you want to know, ask away!! :)

what i'm listening to!

If you've been with me from the beginning, you might remember that every Tuesday I would pick my current favorite song, and share it with you. Well, I stopped that a few weeks ago, just because I always had other things I wanted to talk about. But music is such an important part of my life, so I decided to start that back up again, on Wednesdays. I am always listening to music. In the car, shower, while I'm blogging..always. If I'm in a bad mood, it makes me happy. If I'm stressed, it calms me down. I love discovering new music, and so I thought this might help some of you find some new songs too! Warning: I only listen to country. Sorry not sorry. So let's get to it! (We even have a new look!)

Chris Young is by far my favorite artist. He doesn't have one song that I don't love. [There I go with the double negative again...] This week, I've been listening to Goodbye on repeat. It's so good.

Goodbye by Chris Young - www.musicasparabaixar.org on Grooveshark

And the lyrics:
Knock on my door
You're on my porch
It's about 11:30
And that only means
One of two things
Either you're a little bit lonely
Or something ain't right
And judgin' by
The tear in your eye
You're about to say something crazy
Like goodbye
[Chorus:]
Stop right there
Don't say a word
Just let me hold you
Girl, we can fix
Whatever it is
So whatever you do
Don't let us die
The love of a lifetime
Is worth at least a million tries
Baby what we got
Is too good for goodbye
This ain't a game
I'm trying to play
Girl, we got something real here
You don't just break up
Whenever it gets tough
So, baby, don't you leave here
I want you to say
You're gonna stay
And we're in this thing forever
Come whatever, so
[Repeat Chorus]
It's too good for goodbye
[Repeat Chorus]
Yeah, it's too good for Goodbye
