10 things that taste better than skinny feels

Hi my name is Brianna and I'm addicted to Pinterest. I usually just look at the food and wedding sections because I'm a fat girl at heart and I can't wait to get married. But once and a while when I'm feeling unmotivated, I'll scroll through the fitness section. Just about every time I do, I see some variation of this quote:
nothing tastes as good as skinny feels
FALSE. When I see this, the first thing I think is BS. Then I think of all of the things that taste way better than skinny feels and I end up in the In N Out drive through. I love food, obviously. And I suck at dieting. So, today I'm sharing ten things that taste better than skinny feels.
ten things that taste better than skinny feels
In-N-Out Burger. Which if you couldn't tell by my ad spots, I'm pretty obsessed with In-N-Out. I could eat it literally every day. If you've never had it, I'm so sorry. But you can come to AZ anytime and I will personally buy you one, because its like heaven in a little red tray. But basically if I had the choice between a hamburger (no onion or tomato, extra pickle) and the gym….like its not even a question, the gym can wait.

Carne Asada Fries. YUM. Handsome had some amazing carne asada fries (the bottom right picture) when we went to California last year. Again, if you don't have good mexican food where you're at, you're missing out because carne asada fries are the bomb diggity. Yeah, bomb diggity. I said it.

Ice Cream. Sometimes I think maybe I should go to the gym and then I'm like nahh I'll eat some ice cream instead.

Waffles. Especially those of the Belgian kind. It's funny because I had a picture of Dj eating a waffle from when we were in Belgium in one of my posts, and now its on Pinterest and it keeps getting pinned. Cool, I'm glad people like pictures of my boyfriend eating.

Chipotle. All day every day. My roommates and I go way too much and I wouldn't have it any other way because Chipotle is like the God of all things mexican food.

Crepes. Also better when eaten in Europe. Plus, I get mine with Nutella and strawberries, and strawberries are fruit. So basically that makes it healthy, right?

Cheesy Garlic Bread. YES PLEASE. I tweeted about this one the other day. Dj and I are meant to be because we can talk about our love for garlic bread for a good half hour. That's love, right?
Shawingz. This was a place in Germany that had amazing wings…and chicken and waffles…and fries. Who would've thought that the most amazing hot wings would be in Germany, right? They had like every sauce you could imagine. Even weird ones like cheddar popcorn. But it was amazing. And we were total fatties.
Pizza. PLEASE look how happy Dj is to be eating pizza in this picture. It kills me every time. It may or may not have been after a crazy night in Amsterdam so pizza was well deserved.
Hot Cheetos. You know my love for hot cheetos. No explanation needed there.

Okay but did I seriously just write a whole post about food? My inner fat girl just came out and I love it. But anyway, there you have it, ten things that taste way better than skinny feels!

the best thing you'll ever put in your mouth

GUYS. Yesterday for breakfast handsome and I made our own cinnamon sugar donuts. I didn't even think about taking pictures until they were done, so I'm sorry that I suck. But they're super simple and amazing, so I had to share!
donut, homemade, easy, recipe, Pillsbury, biscuit, cinnamon sugar
Here's what you need...it's this simple:
pillsbury biscuits
sugar
cinnamon
oil
Heat up some canola oil in a skillet/pan/whatever
Take the biscuits out of the container (which I hate doing because the 'pop' always scares me)
Flatten them out
Cut a hole from the center
Mix cinnamon and sugar in a bowl
Fry the dough pieces until they're golden brown
Transfer directly into cinnamon sugar mix and coat the whole darn thing with that amazingness.

Sorry for the awful recipe-giving, but it's pretty fool proof, and they're literally so good. I'm spending today soaking up my time with Handsome (I leave tomorrow...boo).  But I definitely recommend you try them. I also updated my design services so check that out! Happy Sunday!

yummy homemade chipolte burrito bowls!

I love Chipotle. I would eat there every day if I could! I always get a burrito bowl and they're absolutely delicious! So to save a little money, I decided to try to make them at home.  I must say, they turned out much better than I expected!

I bought boneless skinless chicken breasts and just cooked them in a pan with a little olive oil, salt, and pepper. I always make a ton, and then the rest I can whip up in just minutes whenever! I use one chicken breast per bowl.

For the rice, you can really use any kind. I love jasmine rice, so that's what I used. You just follow the cooking instructions on the bag.  I usually make about a cup of uncooked rice, and that's enough for two or three bowls. I love Chipotle's cilantro-lime rice, so I take a small bunch of cilantro leaves, chop them up and mix them right into the cooked rice! For the lime, I use the zest and juice of about half of a lime (It just depends on how much rice you make and how much lime flavor you want!)

I always add black beans to mine, but you can use whatever kind of beans you like too! I just take some from a can, but of course you can cook your own.

Then we get to the to good stuff! The guacamole and salsa! My absolute favorite. I didn't like guac until this year, and now I can't get enough of it! I just make a simple guac with this recipe:
2 ripe Hass avocado
1 clove garlic
1/4 of a white onion, chopped
Zest and Juice of 1/2 lime
Cilantro, to taste
Pinch of salt, to taste
But you can also find a really yummy recipe here
I use store bought salsa.  I like Tostitos salsa, but I'm not picky.  If you want to make your own, I recommend this one.

And it's that simple! It's so easy and so yummy, we make them all the time! Also much cheaper than spending $8 a Chipotle every time! Enjoy :)
