let's get a little mud on the tires

Gosh I love having my handsome man in town. Spending time with him is the best! We always have such a good time even if we're just sitting around doing nothing, but the last few days we've been so busy!
Yesterday, we met up with his dad who lives in BFE nowhere. Handsome got a new truck and just put some new tires on that bad boy so we took it out, along with his dad and his truck, to go get a little mud on the tires! Thanks Brad Paisley.
But of course we had to stop at Starbucks first :)

He let me drive his truck which was a lot of fun! It was just down some dirt roads, nothing crazy, but it was exciting...and scary because I drive a little car so I'm not used to big trucks!

Arizona is so ugly. For those of you that know the Phoenix area, this is at like 287th Avenue and Bell. Yeah, we're in the middle of nowhere.

What's a little dirt road fun without some good country music?!

We also got to shoot some guns. That one right there was so loud that Handsome's ears were still ringing later that night. Great.

Alright so here's the first hill we tried to climb. We get all the way to the top, and it was scary as shit. We couldn't see in front of us so we didn't really know what the top of the hill looked like and where to drive. I thought we were going to die.

But we made it!

His truck just looks like its going to fall over.

Now, getting off of this hill was intense. I'm pretty sure we almost tipped over. I had my eyes closed and I was just saying "we're gonna die" over and over haha. But Handsome got us turned around so we could drive down that hill.

Now here's the fun part.

Halfway down the hill and I start to hear air.. coming from his tire. 

His two day old tire was popped. Two days. So we spent the next half hour changing it.

Well, he spent the next half hour changing it. :)

He was so bummed. I felt awful. But luckily the tire place helped us out (even though they were closed) and hooked my handsome man up with a new tire!

Finally we were home, and then it was date night!

We went to dinner and walked around this cute little outside mall. It was so nice outside too! I was even a little cold. That's not supposed to happen in September in Arizona. I loved it!

Oh, and PS- he even walks my dogs for me, and he looks damn sexy while he's doing it! I think he's a keeper.

weekend update

Hello loves! I'm linking up with Sami for Weekend Shenanigans! My weekend was amazing. I got to spend it with my handsome man. :)

Gosh he's so handsome! I came home to Phoenix Thursday after class. Dj and I surprised his mom- she didn't know he was here yet! It was so cute. Then he finally got to meet my best friend. When he's in town she's always at school in California! I'm so glad they finally got to meet. Then on Friday we went to dinner with my grandparents who also haven't met him. Poor guy, I've been dragging him around to meet all of the people that are important to me. He's such a good sport! I'm so lucky. Anyway, we went to dinner and it went really well. They loved him! Then we went bowling with some of his friends. I realized that I'm terrible at bowling. I lost by at least 40 each game..cool. Saturday we went and got me a new phone! woooo hoooo! I got the iPhone 5c in pink. It's so cute! Best part- it was free! I got to trade in my old phone and got this one instead! I'm a little obsessed with it. Saturday night he came with me to babysit. I've been babysitting this family for like seven years and they're like family to me, so of course they had to meet him! It was awesome. Playing with him and the kids made me so excited thinking about someday when it'll be our kids we're playing with! Sunday morning we got Krispy Kreme so obviously it was a good day. I'm pretty sure we both ate like 7 donuts! Oh well. I head back to Tucson today (boo) and then I get to come home to his handsome face again Thursday! I can't wait already. Sooo there's my weekend!
