it's the little things

Happy Thursday loves! Wow, this week went by fast! Time is surely flying by, which is good, because I seriously need to be in Montana already! It's been a busy week. I started my internship, which I'm really excited about, and I got all of my work done for the weekend! I'm headed to Phoenix today for the weekend! I'm meeting with some lovely Arizona bloggers for lunch tomorrow and I couldn't be more excited! Be on the lookout for another blate recap soon! :)

While I'm counting down the days until summer, I'm trying to remind myself to find happiness in unexpected places, to find beauty in everything, to enjoy the little things. So here are some little things that are making me happy right now!
I finally updated my spottily playlist. I always listen to the same songs over and over again, and I get tired of them so fast. So I made a new playlist with all of the songs from my favorite artists. If you'd like to follow along, you can do that here!
I mentioned that DJ sent me flowers on his birthday. I've had this little milk jar for a while and I've been desperate to find a use for it. So I picked a few flowers from the bouquet he sent me and put them in the jar with some twine, and I love it. Now I just want to buy a million jars and fill them all with flowers!
I did my first Wordpress design yesterday! It was for Haley over at The Business of Blonde. She's new to blogging, and I actually know her in real life, so it was so exciting to help her get her blog started! Go say hi and show her some love, she's the best! Chipotle. Enough said. I'm eating leftovers from last night as I write this and it honestly makes everything more enjoyable. Also, I'm sad because there's not one Chipotle IN THE ENTIRE STATE OF MONTANA. So I don't know what I'm going to do this summer.
Its almost summer. Have I mentioned that I'm excited about that? It really needs to hurry up, so I made this cute little countdown yesterday. I have 8 classes left, and 34 days until I get to see my boyfriend! Which is not too bad at all. :)
I'm also really getting excited about spring nail polish. You probably know that I'm obsessed with nail polish (I have 90+ bottles) and its finally time to whip out the spring colors! I'll admit, I miss the dark colors (I love my OPI dark purple + black) but I'm really obsessed with this OPI "Toucan Do It If You Try" and "Bare Bones" from Revlon right now! 
And what makes me happiest of all…sweet texts from my sweet man. Being apart is so hard, but he sure knows how to make me happy and feel loved every single day!

    I love that orange color! Lately, for some unknown reason, I have been slacking on painting my nails and I really want to get back into it. I might have to purchase that to jump start my spring!

    I'm SO excited about the blogger meet up tomorrow! Can't wait to meet everyone! I love that you design! I really want to get into it. I know really basic stuff and I know enough to design my own website, but it's scary to me thinking about designing someone else's! Haha I don't know why!

    Yea its amazing how little things can make us girls smile and feel like we're on top of the right. Brantley Gilbert is one of them LOL. Love "Bottoms Up" esp him that video. Good grief. :D and love the flowers and what a sweet man you have. Sounds like my man LOL

    Awww, he's such a sweetie! And I just stumbled upon a glass milk jug a while back and can't wait to get to our farmer's market to fill it with fresh flowers. So pretty!

    Before blogging, I'd never met anyone with nearly as much (or more!) bottles of nail polish as me. I'm up to 87 and counting, so I'm glad you get me there. Revlon has an awesome line!

    Other little things that make me happy: any spontaneous rendezvous with the Boyfriend, my kitten playing fetch, and Reese Piece's (which I'm currently devouring).
